Last Light on the First Snow
This is the classic view of the San Francisco
Peaks, actually made from the "Alpine
Garden Club" overlook on Highway 180.
This year the snow came very late in the
season, but it is always beautiful no matter
when it comes. Here the last bit of the day's
light sets the summits and the lingering clouds
aglow. A good companion image to "First
Light on the First Snow."
