Sunrise from the Cinders
"Are you going to shoot this?!" was the excited
question my friend asked as the sun worked its way
down the mountain. We were on top of a small
cinder cone on the edge of Sunset Crater
National Monument and I made this exposure just
as the sun licked the tumbleweed in the foreground.
