Canyon Spirit
Heavy monsoon rain fell the entire night leaving the
pre-dawn hours completely socked-in. No Grand
Canyon anywhere. Then as the canyon bottom
warmed up, the clouds rose out of the gorge and
floated right past us, right through us. Mount
Hayden was revealed in the foreground, as we were
at Point Imperial. This was my first trip to the North
Rim of the Grand Canyon.
