Aspen Trunks in Snow
I had wanted to make a composition like this for
quite a while, white aspens on a fresh white snow.
This chilly March day brought the opportunity.
The shadows also added to the illusion, the dark
repeating lines crossing the snow made my day.
Light like this always wants to trick a camera's light
meter, in order not to have "middle gray" snow, I
overexposed the scene for nice clean whites.
